Evaluation

Evaluating the solutions based on their functionality, creativity, and impact is crucial in any hackathon, including an AI-enabled proctoring systems hackathon. Here’s a breakdown of what each criterion means:

Functionality

This refers to how well the solution works in practice. The judges will be looking for reliable, accurate, and efficient solutions in monitoring online exams and assessments. The answer should be able to detect and prevent cheating attempts effectively without causing any false positives or negatives. Additionally, the solution should be easy to use and integrate with existing systems.

Creativity

This refers to how innovative and original the solution is. The judges will seek solutions that demonstrate creative thinking, outside-the-box ideas, and unique approaches to solving the problem. The answer should incorporate cutting-edge technology and AI to improve the proctoring system’s performance.

Impact

This refers to how well the solution addresses the problem and positively impacts the community. The judges will look for solutions that can help maintain the integrity of online exams and assessments while protecting test-takers’ privacy. Additionally, the answer should be scalable and cost-effective, making it accessible to a broad audience.

Please note that the final app or system presented at the hackathon does not necessarily need to be fully functioning. We encourage teams to focus on developing a feasible project with great potential, even if some aspects of the app or system are not fully implemented. The final presentations will be evaluated based on functionality, creativity, and impact, as well as the potential for future development and implementation. We encourage teams to think outside the box and present innovative solutions to the problem statement. Good luck!
